Top Broker Honorees: Colliers’ David Burden and Tom Berarducci

In 2019, David Burden and Tom Berarducci had an exceptional year, closing 80 transactions totaling 1.3 million square feet. For Burden, 2019 marked the third time since 2015 that he was named Colliers Chicago office’s top producer.

A transaction illustrating the duo’s creative deal-making skills was the headquarters site selection for Home Partners of America. What started as “spec suite” search for 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of short-term space turned into a larger commitment, yet the client still wanted to house its operations on one floor.

Burden and Berarducci found a space matching Home Partners’ requirements when CDW announced it would vacate 120 S. Riverside Dr. in the West Loop. The team secured a full floor of 38,000 square feet for Home Partners.
