2020 Next Generation Honoree: Trammell Crow’s Matt Nunn Brings Energy to Development

Matt Nunn, an SVP with Trammell Crow Company’s Northeast Metro Business Unit, is said to have an infectious energy when it comes to all things related to real estate development that is felt throughout the TCC office, as well as the industrial market. Colleagues say Nunn has surprised himself and his managers by becoming a key market player in his first few years with the company by developing an incredible depth of knowledge of the industrial business in a short period of time.

When the COVID-19 pandemic set in earlier this year, Nunn was in the midst of finalizing a deal for the North Valley Trade Center, a 1.3-million-square-foot industrial development in the Lehigh Valley. Perhaps the biggest hurdle for this deal was closing it remotely in March 2020, when most offices in Pennsylvania were closed due to the pandemic. Nunn orchestrated a complicated, simultaneous close across five parties at a time when the commercial real estate market was experiencing unprecedented uncertainty. It was a testament to his strong relationship building, attention to detail, and sheer force of will to bring the deal to the finish line.

These are just some of the reasons we chose Nunn to be one of the National 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
