Women in Real Estate 2019: Phase Zero’s Lindsay Corsino Finds Success Outside the Comfort Zone

Lindsay Corsino began her career working for her now-current principal at Phase Zero Design, Jim Kimball. Both worked at an architecture firm that went under amidst the recession which led them to go their separate ways. Kimball started Phase Zero Design shortly after, and Corsino worked in marketing and business development for a few construction firms.

When Kimball was ready to hire in the business development space 10 years later, Corsino was his first call. She’s now director of marketing and business development, thereby demonstrating her ability to form long-lasting relationships and implement her strong business acumen.

These are just a couple of the reasons we chose Corsino as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Corsino has taken a strategic approach to business acquisition at Phase Zero Design. She pushes the firm to explore market sectors that are outside of its comfort zone. For example, the cannabis market in Massachusetts has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, and although the idea was met with reluctance, Corsino urged the firm to dive in. By having a strategy curated to accommodate the growing market sector, the firm now expects to do $1 million of revenue in cannabis facilities this year.
