Women in Real Estate 2019: Jillian Mariutti Brings Capital Markets Expertise to JLL

Jillian Mariutti joined the HFF team as a director in June, just prior to the capital markets firm’s acquisition by JLL. At JLL, Mariutti arranges and structures real estate capital on an exclusive basis for some of the nation’s premier owners, investors, and developers.

The new role calls on the numerous strands of expertise Mariutti has developed since beginning her career in 2007, with interest rate risk management a focal point. Prior to joining HFF, she was a director on the debt and equity desk at Mission Capital Advisors, and before that was head of real estate North America at JCRA Financial LLC.

She joined JCRA from Wells Fargo in New York, where she marketed and structured interest rate management solutions for public REITS, multifamily and hospitality finance clients. Along the way, in 2014 Mariutti was named a ‘Rising Star’ by the Women’s Bond Club of New York.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Mariutti as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Industry colleagues cite Mariutti’s commanding knowledge of her product along with her equally high-profile interpersonal skills. “Her energy makes her stand out,” says one. “Her personality is infectious and you can tell she loves what she does and she’s very good at it.”
