Women in Real Estate 2019: Cushman & Wakefield’s Christy Means Creates Unified Vision

These days, as Managing Director of Asset Services for Cushman & Wakefield’s Dallas office, Means is responsible for the Asset Services platform’s operations, new business development and financial oversight. She also heads up recruitment efforts, while cultivating best practices across the portfolio. Her efforts on behalf of the company, combined with her years in commercial real estate, is why Means was honored with a 2019 Connect Media Women in Real Estate award.
Additionally, as head of Dallas Property Management, she is in the ideal position to work in tandem across Cushman & Wakefield’s other service lines. For instance, she was recently hired to manage Pioneer Resource’s new 1.2 million square foot headquarters, in collaboration with the company’s facilities management team. Means’ ability to listen and connect with the client helped Cushman & Wakefield win the assignment.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2017, Means was Stream Realty Partners’ Managing Director — Management Service. She also held executive positions at Cobalt Capital Partners and Transwestern Commercial Services.
