Women in Real Estate 2019: Avison Young’s Sue Earnest Known as CRE Pioneer in Tennessee

Earnest has achieved considerable success and has a strong track record of helping clients navigate complex leasing and sale transactions. As a Principal in Avison Young’s Nashville office, she has built an extensive client network that extends beyond the Southeast region to include many multi-market, national relationships. Earnest has worked with a number of leading firms in the industrial sector, including Prologis, Exeter, Ivanhoe Cambridge, XPO Logistics, and Carlex.
Sue has been a pioneer for women in the industrial sector of the commercial real estate market in Middle Tennessee over the past 15 years. In an industry that is heavily weighted toward males and a market sector (industrial) that is almost exclusively males, she has created a reputation as a top-tier producer in the Nashville market.
She has also been a trailblazer for women in the sector, taking advantage of her unique experience to mentor other women who show interest in Industrial brokerage through the years. The opportunity for women to pursue a career in the field is much more open as a result of Sue’s perseverance and leadership.
Throughout her career, she has built a stellar reputation through proactive new business development, long-term relationship building and attention to client needs.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Earnest as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
