Women in Real Estate 2019: Menashe Commercial’s Lauren Menashe Lifts Family CRE Firm to New Heights

Lauren Menashe serves as Vice President of Assets and Development at Menashe Commercial in Portland, her family’s commercial real estate business that was founded more than 40 years ago. She returned to the Rose City after spending five years working for Caruso as retail manager of The Grove Shopping Center in Los Angeles, where she led a team of more than 150 employees and 50 retail tenants.

She works alongside her brother, Jordan, at the family-owned commercial real estate business with interests in markets throughout the greater Pacific and Mountain West United States. The investment company owns and operates a portfolio of office, retail and industrial assets and also develops assets. One of the firms’ most recent deals was also its largest ever. It acquired the historic Medical Dental Building in Seattle for $113 million earlier this fall.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Menashe as one of the 2019 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Menashe enjoys staying active, and working in commercial real estate is no exception. While not at work, she spends her time flying planes, exploring restaurants, or taking a new workout class.
