Women in Real Estate 2019: Marker Construction’s Peggy Marker is Visionary and Innovative Trailblazer

Peggy Marker has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, and is a visionary leader within her firm as well as in the South Florida community.

With her unique skill set, Marker offers an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, including the ability to schedule years out, and drive these schedules so all team members work in synchronicity to complete the project on time and on budget.

Under her leadership, Marker Construction Group’s gross annual sales increased 84% in terms of gross annual sales from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, 40% of the team members at Marker are women. In efforts to retain viable, longtime employees, Marker provides increased salaries, a family-oriented and enjoyable workplace, as well as more days off for team members.

Marker believes that there is nothing preventing any woman from running her own company or taking on any role in the construction industry.
