Top Broker Honorees: Stanford Jones, Philip Saglimbeni and Salvatore Saglimbeni

With 72 years of combined experience, the team of Stanford Jones, Philip Saglimbeni and Salvatore Saglimbeni are a significant part of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap. They’re also an investment sales powerhouse, racking up a tally of $1.845 billion in deals during 2018.

Their most notable transaction last year was South Shore Apartments, a 450-unit complex on Alameda Island in the Bay Area. The property’s storied history of where and how it was developed, and by whom, represented a compelling value-add business opportunity, especially because it had never undergone a comprehensive renovation since its construction in the 1970s. The Jones-Saglimbeni team had a longstanding relationship with the property’s previous owner, which decided to reposition parts of its investment portfolio, hence the sale.
