Top Broker Honoree: Phil Mahoney

NKF’s Phil Mahoney is ranked as the top-producing agent in Silicon Valley, with high-end technology companies as clients. The executive vice chairman, who has served Valley clients since 1982, has significantly tightened the region’s markets and in 2018 helped introduce Facebook to the South Bay.

That transaction of one-million-plus square feet at the Moffett Towers II complex in Sunnyvale last May was one of a multitude of complex transactions, all in the space of a year, that demonstrated Mahoney’s versatility and creativity. Other big deals in the tech space included Amazon for 750,000 square feet, Roku for 575,000 square feet and LinkedIn for 400,000 square feet.

In all, Mahoney completed 34 leases in 2018, with a combined dollar value of nearly $2.5 billion.
