Top Broker Honoree: David Simmonds
David Simmonds founded Retail Solutions in January of 2009, in the depths of the Great Recession, and has since built it into a national and international brokerage platform.
The Austin-based company leases more properties across Texas than any other, according to CoStar data, and represents 40-plus tenant clients across the entire U.S. and up to 77 countries. 2018 saw Retail Solutions increase its global tenant rep program by 542%.
Simmonds handled 469 leasing transactions in 2018, with total square footage of more than 1.25 million and dollar volume of nearly $144 million.
Retail Solutions has been named one of the fastest-growing Central Texas based companies by the Austin Business Journal, and recently was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America.
