Women in Real Estate 2018: Avison Young’s Heryet Earns Long-Term Client Loyalty

Heryet has closed more than 25 million square feet of transactions throughout her career. She received the Real Estate Board of New York’s 2002 Robert T. Lawrence Memorial Award for the 740,000-square-foot relocation of the United Federation of Teachers headquarters. Other clients she has serviced during her career include Avon Products, Citrix Systems, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, Securitas Security Services USA and the World Health Organization.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Heryet as one of the 2018 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
Another hallmark of Heryet’s skills is her ability to see the value of buildings, and reposition them for success. For example, as the leasing agent for 654 Madison Ave., a 150,000-square-foot boutique office building in the Plaza District, she developed full-floor opportunities and repositioned the building, thus creating high-end pre-built units and leasing to a variety of tenants.
