Women in Real Estate Honoree: Anita Paryani-Rice, Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp.

Anita Paryani-Rice consistently ranks among the Top 10 loan originators at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp., and typically is the only female on the list. She is the first woman to earn the title of senior vice president capital markets at M&M.

Her history of success is just one of the reasons we chose Paryani-Rice to be one of the 2017 Women in Real Estate Award winners for California. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of those women who’ve reached respected positions of leadership, and play key mentorship roles for others in commercial real estate.

Paryani-Rice finds unique financing structures for her clients, using her knowledge and experience to identify opportunities others in the industry miss, according to colleagues. Much of her business today comes from repeat clients and their direct referrals.

She’s also active in professional organizations. In addition, she is the mother of a son who lives with Progressive Osseous Heteroplasia, a rare genetic bone disorder, and she sits on the board of POHDisease.org, a non-profit fighting the disease.
