Skanska to Break Ground on The Eight Next Month
Next month, Skanska will break ground on its newest project, The Eight. The Eight is the first speculative office building developed in Bellevue in the past six years.
“The Eight is designed for companies interested in leveraging their brand to grow, expand and attract the country’s top talent. Skanska is focused on delivering an incredible building for Bellevue with amenities our tenants and community desire most – one that is focused on health and wellness from the ground floor to the top of the tower,” said Murphy McCullough, executive vice president for Skanska USA Commercial Development’s Seattle market.
The Eight is a 25-floor class-A office tower that encompasses 540,000 square feet, designed with a side core that allows for large flexible floorplates for all types of tenants and densities. The Eight also features seven alternating indoor/outdoor exterior balconies plus 7,000 square feet of open public space, 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space and an additional 1,200-square-foot retail pavilion.
