TCC, Clarion Break Ground at KCI Intermodal BusinessCentre
Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and capital partner Clarion Partners have broken ground on two large, Class A warehouse and distribution facilities within the KCI Intermodal BusinessCentre in Kansas City, MO. Located adjacent to the Kansas City International Airport, LogisticsCentre VII (LC7) and LogisticsCentre VIII (LC8) will total 676,000 square feet when the buildings are delivered in the fourth quarter.
“The KCI Intermodal BusinessCentre has been an incredibly important project for Platte County since TCC and Clarion started construction in 2011,” said Tom Thornton, SVP with TCC’s Midwest Business Unit. “We are pleased to continue delivering much-needed Class A industrial space to the market and were honored to have been recognized by the Platte County Economic Development Council with the 2020 Business Excellence Award for our work on this development.
“We remain committed to the BusinessCentre and to growing Kansas City’s logistics market and expanding the KCI/Northland submarket specifically,” he added.
