Kids Empire Opens in Dallas’ Hillcrest Village

Kids Empire, a secure indoor playground for all children, recently opened in 15,850 square feet of retail space in Hillcrest Village, a redevelopment project located at 6959 Arapaho Rd. Hillcrest Village is being redeveloped by SHOP Development, with is transforming the project into a high-end neighborhood center thought facade enhancements, new lighting, landscape improvements and pedestrian-friendly elements. In addition, the project features a 1.5-acre city park at the center of the property.

Robin Barrow with Weitzman handled negotiations for the Hillcrest Village location as tenant representative for Kids Empire. Stephan Ktorza and Shelby Dopps with Kidder Mathews acted as the national master broker for the retailer. Josh Beliak with SHOP Companies represented the center.

Kids Empire is currently expanding throughout the United States and in Texas, is seeking sites in retail centers located in the state’s four major metropolitan areas. The concept was developed in Southern California as a way to provide parents with a safe place for children to play and explore.
