Dayton Street Trades North Side Warehouse to Brookfield

Dayton Street Partners has sold a modern distribution center located at 4150 N. Knox on Chicago’s North Side to Brookfield Properties for an undisclosed price. CBRE National Partners represented Dayton Street in the sale.

Chicago-based Dayton Street purchased the 1.6-acre vacant parcel in 2015 and completed construction of the 41,000-square-foot warehouse/distribution center in 2018. It features 30’ clear ceiling height, six docks, four drive in doors and LED lighting.

The building is located a block from I-90, CTA’s L stop and the Metra, and provides parking for 55 vehicles. It is 100% leased to Johnstone Supply and Goodman Manufacturing.

Dayton Street says it continues to seek opportunities to acquire and develop logistics and transload properties in strategic markets across the U.S. that are experiencing exponential population growth as well as robust logistics infrastructure development.
