Work Underway on 330-Unit SoFlo

Encore Enterprises Inc. launched construction on 330 residential units near San Antonio’s Southtown district. The $60 million project, known as Encore SoFlo, is going north on a site near South Flores Street and Cesar Chavez Boulevard, near H-E-B headquarters. Joining Dallas-based Encore Enterprises in developing the project are Greystar, the city of San Antonio and Bexar County.

SoFlo is part of San Antonio’s Center City Housing Incentive Program, meaning Encore has been granted approximately $6 million in municipal incentives for its private investment. The incentive package includes a 15-year tax rebate, city fee waivers and San Antonio Water impact fee waivers.

SoFlo, which is near the currently under-renovation San Pedro Creek, is anticipated to be completed in 2019.
