Work Begins on $200M MXU Project in Hartford

Connecticut-based developer RMS Cos. has started construction on the $50 million first phase of Downtown North, a mixed-use redevelopment project in Hartford.

When completed, the project will consist of 1,000 new residential units to the city. The project’s first phase will include studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans as well as retail and entertainment space. Additionally, the projet is slated to feature a 330-space parking garage.

Construction of the first phase is expected to last 20 months. The Downtown North redevelopment project is valued at $200 million and is slated to be developed in phases over the next five years.
