Wood and Rose Owner Inks Deal at Lamar Central

The owner of boutique clothing store Wood and Rose struck a deal with Highland Resources to take space at Lamar Central at 3800 N. Lamar, Austin. Shop owner Wendy Vaughan, who already owns Bird Boutique on South Lamar Boulevard, signed a lease for 1,730 square feet, with plans to open in fall 2018.

CBRE’s Bryan McMurrey represented the landlord. Tyler Dutton with KPG negotiated on behalf of the tenant. “Wood and Rose focused on this area of North Lamar, as it is a prime location within a boutique retail center with the synergy of other top Austin female retailers in the vicinity, such as Kendra Scott, Lure, Wildflowers and Westlake Dermatology,” McMurrey said.

Lamar Central is a 165,000-square-foot, mixed-use property that came online in 2015. The tenant base is a mix of local and national companies.
