Winick Arranges Trio of Anchor Renewals for Columbus Sq. Retail

Three anchor tenants have extended their leases in the retail component of UDR’s Columbus Square MXU on the Upper West Side. Additionally, Winick Realty Group, the MXU’s exclusive broker, has brought in a Montessori school.

TJ Maxx has extended its 40,550-square-foot lease at 808 Columbus Ave. and extended the 27,019-square-foot lease for sister company Home Goods at 795 Columbus Ave. Michael’s Arts & Crafts, also at 808 Columbus, will remain in its 34,424-square-foot space.

At 775 Columbus, Winick Realty arranged a 10,976-square-foot lease with Montessori organization Higher Ground Education. NKF’s Jordan Gosin and JLL’s Nick Carey represented the tenant, while ownership was advised by Winick Realty president Jeff Winick and his associate Ross Burack.

“Columbus Square has brought new excitement to this Upper West Side neighborhood, and created a destination for both local residents and shoppers from all over the city,” said Winick, who represented ownership in the lease extensions.
