Windy Hill Secures $106M Construction Loan for San Mateo Mixed Use
A joint venture led by Windy Hill Property Ventures has secured $106 million in financing for a mixed-use development currently underway at 406 E. 3rd Ave.in San Mateo, CA, just two blocks from the San Mateo Caltrain Station.
Development at the project, which will deliver 115,000 square feet of office space and 25 apartment units, commenced in December 2019.
New York City-based Square Mile Capital Management LLC (Square Mile) originated the loan in collaboration with Bank OZK, with the latter providing the senior portion of the loan. The financing was arranged by Terry Daly and Dan McLeod of Cushman & Wakefield’s San Francisco office.
In a statement, Square Mile Principal Eric Cohen said, “… we continue to seek out investments in high quality, transit-oriented office properties across the Bay Area and look forward … to a new relationship with Windy Hill Property Ventures on this development.”
