Wilshire Previews Ukrainian Village Condos

Chicago-based Wilshire Homes Development and @properties have opened a model home at The Boulevard, a boutique building offering 16 new-construction condominiums in the North Side’s Ukrainian Village. The project is now more than 50% sold, and homes are available for immediate delivery.

Located at 1938 W. Augusta Blvd., just east of Damen Avenue, The Boulevard preserves the historic green-and-white-tiled façade of a 1920s-era building that reportedly once housed the only Ukrainian dairy in the city.

A courtyard separates the restored façade from the new five-story elevator building, which features all-masonry construction that references to the original structure in its peaked parapet wall and band of green, glazed brick. The design is by Space Architects + Planners.

“The value of a three-bedroom, new-construction home, in an elevator building, priced from $700,000, has not been lost on buyers who can finally see the finished product,” said @properties’ Landon Harper.

Connect Chicago Fall 2019 will take place Oct. 29 in Chicago. For more information, or to register, click here.
