William Gilbane III Joins Gilbane’s Board of Directors

Providence RI.-based construction and real estate development firm Gilbane has announced that William Gilbane III has been elected to its board of directors. Gilbane will bring entrepreneurial leadership and uphold family ownership values as a board director.

Gilbane III is a former senior vice president of the New York division of Gilbane Building Co. He began his career with Gilbane in 2003, working in multiple roles in the company that included projects located in Newark, Washington D.C. and Brooklyn. As a senior vice president, Gilbane was responsible for sales, operations and client relations for the company’s New York and New Jersey Division from 2012-2019.

“Bill’s experience as an entrepreneurial leader of the New York Division will be a tremendous asset to the Gilbane board,” said Thomas Gilbane, Jr., chairman and CEO at Gilbane. “Bill will be a key strategic leader helping to further Gilbane’s growth, build upon the value that we deliver to our clients and shareholders, and help prepare for the company’s leadership succession for future generations.”
