Where are the Best Places to Retire in Texas?
Many factors go into determining the best place to retire — these include housing affordability, tax rates, job markets and healthcare quality. And, according to a recent ranking from U.S. News & World Report, three Texas cities made the top 10 as ideal locations in which to retire.
Specifically, Austin (#4), San Antonio (#8) and Dallas-Fort Worth (#9) were considered desirable, based on data collected via an online survey of pre-retirees and retirement-aged individuals.
