What’s on Tap for Texas? Dallas Fed’s Laila Assanie to Explain

Those who live and work in Texas understand that things are going very well in the Lone Star State, from an economic perspective. But, will the economic good times last?

Those in attendance at the Aug. 24 Connect Texas Multifamily conference will gain more insight, as Laila Assanie, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ Senior Business Economist, will discuss what’s currently happening with the Texas economy, and what the future might bring.

Assanie is an expert on regional economic conditions. She coordinates production of economic updates and indicators for the Dallas Fed’s website, and also writes the Eleventh District Beige Book. Additionally, she pens articles regularly for many economic publications. In recent articles, she points out that soaring Texas housing prices are pricing many out of the market.
