WeWork to Open First San Antonio Space in Kress Building

Co-working company WeWork has a presence in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston. Now, the New York City-headquartered business has announced it will open its first San Antonio office in the central business district’s Kress Building.

GrayStreet Properties owns the approximately 84,000-square-foot Kress Building. WeWork will lease five floors in the property, which is located at 315 E. Houston. Though the specific square footage leased was not available, WeWork indicated the space would accommodate more than 1,100 members. The space is scheduled to open in late 2019.

“We have had our eye on San Antonio for a while, and we are thrilled to be expanding the WeWork footprint in Texas,” said Nathan Lenahan with WeWork. He added that the location would be WeWork’s 13th in Texas.
