WeWork Snags 10 Floors, Will Anchor BentallGreenOak’s B6 Tower in Vancouver

WeWork Cos Inc. plans to take 170,000 square feet across 10 floors at B6, a 32-story development being built by BentallGreenOak in Vancouver, BC. The co-working firm will anchor the $400-million 534,000-square-foot project, which will rank as the third-largest office tower in Vancouver when completed in early 2023.

The project is located at 1090 West Pender St., where construction commenced earlier this year. BentallGreenOak will occupy roughly 45,000 square feet at the building that is targeting LEED Gold. The building will feature a green roof and incorporate International WELL Building Institute WELL v2 standards. The tower will be wrapped with sustainable features such as triple-glazed windows and include efficient mechanical systems.

The developer is a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc. and this is the first large-scale Vancouver building since developers Bentall Kennedy and New York investment firm GreenOak Real Estate merged.

There is still time to join us this week for Connect Bay Area at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Get more information, and register to attend on this link.
