WeWork Adds 43K-SF at 575 Fifth Ave.
WeWork, the global workspace, community and services provider, has signed a 15-year lease for an additional 43,000 square feet, expanding to a total of 101,000 square feet on seven floors at 575 Fifth Ave.
“Midtown Manhattan continues to be a very attractive location for businesses, and we are proud that WeWork has chosen to expand in this building,” said Chris Gulden, senior vice president, Beacon Capital Partners, which acquired the building in 2015 with MetLife.
Beacon Capital Partners has completed extensive capital improvements to the property, including a renovated and modernized lobby. Other recent leases at the 40-story tower include Numis Securities, which leased 7,000 square feet for a new headquarters.
