Weston Urban Buys 800 Dolorosa

Weston Urban, which is busy developing the 400,000-square-foot Frost Tower in downtown San Antonio, found time to acquire a nearby property. To that end, the local buyer shook hands with GTM Washington Square Ltd. for ownership rights of 800 Dolorosa in the city’s CBD. The 51,508-square-foot asset was 91.6% occupied at the time of the sale.

JLL’s Chuck King and Ben Jordan represented the seller. “Downtown San Antonio continues to see significant investor interest and activity,” King said. “800 Dolorosa offered near-term return for investors, with development potential long term.”

The tenant roster for the building, which opened in the late 1970s, includes legal and professional firms, as well as city and Bexar County courts.
