Weston Readies for Frost HQ Construction in San Antonio

San Antonio developer Weston Urban will break ground on the 23-story Frost Bank headquarters in late 2016. The approximately 400,000-square-foot building, at the northwest corner of Houston and Flores Streets, will be the first office tower built since 1989.

Frost Bank’s name will mark the building, and it will occupy approximately 250,000 square feet on the lower floors. The project will also include a six-story parking garage, and 20,000 square feet of retail space. Construction will take about two years.

Weston Urban is co-developing the project with Dallas-based KDC, which is working on Toyota’s North American headquarters in Plano, TX. Pelli Clarke Pelli is the architect.
