Welltower Acquires 335-Unit Senior Portfolio

Welltower Inc. of Ohio acquired a 335-unit senior living portfolio in the Dominion area of far northwest San Antonio. Dallas-based South Bay Partners was the seller/developer of the 230-unit Watercrest at Dominion, and the neighboring 105-unit Isle at Watercrest Dominion. Both properties have been rebranded together as Discovery Village at Dominion. Discovery Senior Living, headquartered in Florida, will manage the properties.

The properties on the 6800 and 6900 blocks of Heuerman Road were completed in late 2016, and offer independent living, assisted living and memory care services. The complexes also offer one, two and three-bedroom units, and amenities including concierge services, on-site dining, transportation services and wellness programs.
