Weitzman Takes on Willowbrook Plaza Leasing

Retail owner DDR Corp. assigned project leasing of its 392,542-square-foot Willowbrook Plaza to Weitzman’s Houston office. The property is at 17355 Tomball Pkwy. in Houston’s northwest submarket, with tenants including AMC Theatres, Bed, Bath & Beyond, buybuy Baby and World Market.

Weitzman’s James Namken, Kyle Knight and Brett Levinson are handling leasing for the 20-year-old property, which sprawls over roughly 40 acres. Namken indicated that available spaces include an 18,000-square-foot junior anchor space, as well as small-tenant spaces near the cinema.

DDR, headquartered in Beachwood, OH, acquired Willowbrook  Plaza in 2015 for $74 million from a joint venture consisting of the Retail Connection and Long Wharf Real Estate Partners.
