Weitzman Hired to Handle Leasing at The Linc

Misuma Holdings, headquartered in California, hired Weitzman to handle leasing for The Linc, a 180,000-square-foot retail center at 6406 N. Interstate 35 in Austin. Weitzman’s Britt Morrison, Brett Maze and Cameron Longmire have been charged with leasing the center, which opened in the 1970s, and underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in 2016.

The property houses tenants including AFS Cinema (an arthouse cinema run by the Austin Film Society), Wellmed and My Salon Suite. Additionally, “we’re working with numerous distinctive concepts who want to talk to us about space at The Linc,” Morrison said. Weitzman is taking over leasing activities from CBRE.

Misuma acquired the property in 2013 because of its location in Central Austin, which is undergoing redevelopment.
