Wayne Peacock Named USAA CEO; Stuart Parker to Retire in 2020

The USAA Board of Directors named Wayne Peacock as the San Antonio-headquartered company’s next president and CEO, effective Feb. 1, 2020. Peacock will succeed Stuart Parker, who is retiring after more than 21 years at the company. Parker became USAA’s chief executive in 2015.

Peacock joined USAA in 1988, and since that time has “served in a broad range of key assignments . . . for over 30 years . . .” noted board chairman, Admiral Tom Fargo.” For the past three years, Peacock served as president of USAA’s Property & Casualty Group, and also led strategy, marketing, call centers, technology, shared services and corporate real estate” Jim Syring, EVP Chief Administrative Officer, will serve as the next P&C president.

“We thank Stuart for his steadfast leadership during this important and transitional time in the life of our company,” Fargo said.
