Watson Inks 1.2M SF, Plans Next Phase of Chino Development

Watson Land Company completed two leases totaling 1,168,080 square feet of industrial space at Watson Industrial Park Chino (WIP Chino), a 263-acre master-planned development in Chino, CA. The deals with undisclosed tenants mark the completion of construction and leasing for the second phase of development at the site, and pave the way for a March 2018 groundbreaking for the third phase, which will add an additional 1.41 million square feet in three buildings.

Watson’s Jeffrey Jennison says, “Completion of Building 842 is a special milestone for our company as it is the largest building developed by Watson to date. Our ability to lease the entire building prior to final completion underscores the strength of the market.”

Colliers International’s Tom Taylor, Steve Bellitti, Summer Coulter and Josh Hayes represented Watson exclusively at WIP Chino Phases one through three. Roughly 2.59 million square feet in five buildings is now complete and occupied.
