Waterton Hires Director of Research and Strategy
Chicago-based Waterton hired Lee Everett as director of research and strategy. With nearly15 years’ experience and a track record of driving strategy in the residential and commercial real estate spaces, he’ll be responsible for the direct oversight of all Waterton research functions.
“We are excited to welcome Lee to the Waterton team,” said Rick Hurd, Waterton CIO. “Lee’s unique research background will help Waterton navigate these challenging economic times and capitalize on opportunities, by providing proactive, data-driven support to our evolving investment strategies.”
Prior to joining Waterton, Everett was head of research and strategy at Benchmark Senior Living. He was previously at CoStar Portfolio Strategy, where he was a multifamily strategy consultant for some of the largest investment managers, life insurers, pension funds, banks, and private equity funds in the U.S. He has also worked as a consultant at The Concord Group, a boutique national real estate consulting firm.
