Schiff Capital and The Wood Companies Partnering on Columbus Development

Walker & Dunlop Expands to Columbus with MSF Addition

Walker & Dunlop has expanded its debt brokerage team to Columbus, OH with the acquisition of MSF Real Estate Capital. MSF services approximately $925 million of life insurance company loans, substantially all of which will be added to Walker & Dunlop’s servicing portfolio prior to the end of the first quarter.

The addition of MSF’s Jeffrey Morris, Chad Kiner, Scott Moore and A.J. Mangan represents Walker & Dunlop’s first office in the Columbus market. The team has historically originated between $700 million and $1 billion of financing transaction volume annually through a broad range of capital providers.

Jim Cope, head of capital markets at Walker & Dunlop, commented, “Jeff, Chad, and the entire MSF team have an excellent reputation in the industry for sourcing, structuring, and closing real estate development, acquisition, and permanent financing transactions.”
