Waco Gets Eight-Story Hotel

A permit has been issued to North Texas-based DBG Investments for the development of a $17.4 million Marriott Springhill Suites along I-35 in Waco, Texas.

The eight-story, 133-suite hotel, set to include three levels of garage space, will be situated at 115 S. Jack Kultgen Expressway. The site is currently home to a DBG-owned, 1980s-built Executive Inn and Suites. That property will be demolished in July 2017.

Oklahoma City-based E.P. Construction is scheduled to begin building the new hotel in August 2017.
