Vibrant Cities Breaks Ground on Pivot on Seattle’s Capitol Hill
Construction is officially underway on Vibrant Cities’ Pivot Apartments, a mixed-use project on Seattle’s Capitol Hill. The 75,000-square-foot building will rise eight stories and contain 71 apartment units.
Vibrant Cities acquired the development site that overlooks downtown Seattle in August 2016, with a vision to capitalize on a rapidly-growing market being fueled by robust job growth. The project will transform an existing parking lot into a pedestrian-inspired development along the highly-coveted Pike/Pine corridor.
The project also includes 11,000 square feet of office space, as well as 23,300 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. A rootop deck is planned with an expansive greenhouse.
HFF had previously secured $31.3 million in construction financing for development of the project.
