ViaWest Group Delivers Spec Industrial in Chandler Airport Submarket

Phoenix-based ViaWest Group completed construction on two spec industrial buildings totaling 140,372 square feet in the Chandler Airport submarket. This completes Phase II of the AZ 202 Commerce Park; Phase I, a build-to-suit for PODS Moving and Storage, delivered in April of 2018.

The two general industrial buildings are located at Willis Road and Hamilton and total 65,892 square feet and 74,480 square feet. The assets feature 28-foot clear heights, ESFR sprinklers, a mix of dock-high and grade doors, and a 180-foot shared concrete gated truck court. Each building has spec suites complete and are virtually move-in ready.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Andy Markham, Mike Haenel, and Phil Haenel are marketing the new buildings for lease, and ViaWest will handle property management.

“The timing of this development is opportune. We are experiencing significant demand and expect to announce some new lease transactions very soon,” said Phil Haenel.
