Ventas Taps Bulgarelli as Lillibridge CEO

Ventas Inc. has named Peter J. Bulgarelli EVP of office and president and CEO of its Lillibridge Healthcare Services platform, to lead its integrated 25-million-square-foot ambulatory medical office building and university-based life science portfolio. The appointment is effective April 9.

Bulgarelli is coming to Ventas after a 28-year run with JLL. In his current role as executive managing director, industries with JLL, he oversees integrated services for life sciences, healthcare, government and universities, including academic medical centers. Ventas CEO Debra A. Cafaro said Bulgarelli is “perfectly positioned to lead and unify our outstanding ambulatory medical office and life science business, and take it to the next level.”

Todd W. Lillibridge, Ventas’ EVP of medical property operations and president and CEO of LHS, will remain at Ventas to ensure Bulgarelli’s successful onboarding. Thereafter, he’ll represent Ventas on selected strategic initiatives and innovation projects.
