VanTrust Files Plans for Another DFW Spec Build
Already underway on construction of a one-million-square-foot speculative industrial build at its DalParc Logistics Center in southern Dallas County, VanTrust Real Estate is planning another project, this one in Fort Worth.
The Dallas Morning News reported that VanTrust filed plans with the state for a major industrial project near Interstate 35W in south Fort Worth. Scheduled for completion next summer, the 671,000-square-foot spec Fort Worth Logistics Hub industrial building will rise at 420 W. Risinger Rd. A similar-sized second phase is planned.
VanTrust’s planned project is in an area seeing a surge of industrial construction by multiple developers, the Dallas News reported. It’s also another in a series of North Texas developments by the Kansas City, MO-based developer, including a recently announced spec office building in McKinney.
With more than 30 million square feet of construction, Dallas-Fort Worth is among the country’s fastest-growing distribution and warehouse markets.
