Urbanspace Makes California Debut at Regency’s Culver Public Market

Regency Centers is adding Urbanspace to its Culver Public Market project in Culver City, CA to continue bringing the market hall vision to life. Urbanspace cultivates platforms that foster creative success for artisans, entrepreneurs, and chefs, which aligns with the project’s mission. It will be Urbanspace’s first entry into California.

Regency Centers’ John Nahas says, “The market hall component is the anchor of the development, so we couldn’t be more excited to have Urbanspace as a part of the project. The company’s roots are authentic, and their markets in New York and throughout the U.K. are among the best we’ve seen.”

Urbanspace is known for connecting creative small business owners and chefs with curious customers by reaching out to new communities and spaces. Founded in 1972, the company has developed more than 50 projects, revamped derelict city spaces, conserved heritage buildings, and created vibrant new places for community and commercial gathering.

The project includes 26,835 square feet of space for food vendors, and is located at Washington Boulevard and Centinela Avenue.
