Urban Genesis Sells 118-Unit Bishop Highline

Urban Genesis sold Bishop Highline, a 118-unit apartment complex in Dallas’ Bishop Arts District. The Houston-based seller traded the 2018-delivered multifamily asset at 305 and 431 Melba St. to Exxir, headquartered in Dallas.

Chris Deuillet and Chandler Sims with CBRE represented the seller. Deuillet indicated that the buyer has been bullish on the southern Dallas Bishop Arts District, and has been involved in the growth and redevelopment of the area for more than a decade. “The level of interest in Bishop Highline was tremendous and Exxir is the most appropriate buyer of the asset, provided their roots in the submarket,” he added.

Bishop Highline offers studio and one-bedroom layouts. Amenities include the neighborhood’s first live theater, as well as walkability to dining, shopping and entertainment options.
