ULI Northwest Plans Cascadia Disrupted Emerging Trends Conference

ULI Northwest’s annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate event is set to kick off this week. Cascadia Disrupted is a week-long, virtual conference that will feature thought leaders in the real estate and built environment industries from Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver, BC. In the remaining months of what’s been a chaotic 2020, this international webinar conference aims to move the region forward towards a revived, resilient, and equitable future.

The keynote address will feature a presentation of ULI and PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Emerging Trends in Real Estate Report. The report provides an outlook on investment and development trends, real estate finance, capital markets, property sectors, shifting demographics, and other real estate and land use issues.

ULI Northwest and ULI British Columbia assembled a panel of esteemed real estate leaders to respond to the report and discuss the latest issues in real estate and land use across the Cascadia Region.

Highlights of the week includes planned discussions with Vulcan, Inc.’s Ada Healey, Holland Partner Group’s Clyde Holland, Boston Properties’ Kelley Lovshin, CBRE’s Jeanne Marie Coronado, Gerding Edlen’s Carly Harrison, Microsoft’s Joel Combs, Salla Eckhardt and Irene Plenefisch, Downtown Seattle Association’s Jacqueline Gruber, Prosper Portland’s Roger Gonzalez and Sound Transit’s Sloan Dawson.

Throughout the week the conference will explore topics ranging from the industry’s COVID response to diversity and equity issues, and from leadership in turbulent times and economic resilience, to innovations in transit-oriented development, retail and the State of Seattle’s Waterfront.
