Turner Impact Nabs 229-Unit Dallas Vintage Tower

California-based Turner Impact Capital has acquired the View apartment tower on Wedglea Drive, near Hampton Road in Dallas. The new owners have upgrades planned for the 229-unit high rise. The sales price was not disclosed, but the Dallas Central Appraisal District has assessed the property at $10.3 million.

Built in 1963 and originally operating as the Wedgewood Tower, the property was once considered one of Dallas’ most fashionable addresses.  Over the years, it was renamed Indigo and its most recent incarnation, The View (or the View at Kessler Park).

Institutional Property Advisors, a division of Marcus & Millichap, negotiated the transaction between Turner Impact and seller Strategic Realty Capital LLC, also located in California.
