True Religion, Cotton On Join Empire Outlets Lineup

Designer denim brand True Religion and Cotton On, Australia’s largest retailer, will both open stores at BFC Partners’ Empire Outlets. This will be Los Angeles-based True Religion’s first Staten Island store and Cotton On’s first New York City location.

“True Religion is already a huge hit among Staten Island shoppers, and we’re thrilled that their first store in the borough will be right here at Empire Outlets,” said BFC principal Joseph Ferrara. “It’s just as exciting to keep expanding our global reach by bringing Australia’s largest retailer to New York City.”

At Casandra Properties, which is the leasing agent for the city’s first-ever outlet mall, CEO James Prendamano said, “It’s always exciting bringing a little West Coast to Staten Island and New York City.” Other retailers who have committed to the center, scheduled to open next spring, include H&M, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Nordstrom Rack, Gap Factory and Columbia Sporting Goods.
