Triumph Group Plans 150K-SF KC Relocation

Triumph Group Inc., headquartered in Berwyn, PA, will relocate its Kansas City-area operations from Grandview, MO to a build-to-suit in Edgerton, KS. The 156,000-square-foot facility, currently under construction, is in the Logistics Park Kansas City (LPKC), owned by NorthPoint Development. The building will be finished by June 2017. Meanwhile, Triumph’s current 84,000-square-foot site at 4020 East 138th St., is listed for sale.

Triumph Group designs, manufactures and repairs aircraft components, accessories and systems for the aviation industry. With the addition of the new facility at LPKC, Triumph will have three factories in Kansas: a Precision Components facility in Wichita (employing approximately 175 people) and a Product Support facility in Wellington (employing approximately 115 people).
