Tribune Media Selling Off More Real Estate

The owner of the Los Angeles Times, Tribune Media, is selling off more real estate in downtown Los Angeles, after selling the iconic Tribune Tower in Chicago last month.

Tribune hired JLL to broker the sale of 25 acres of land in the Arts District. A Los Angeles Times printing plant is part of the deal, as well as seven acres of frontage along Alameda Street.

Tribune officials say that the property should be very marketable in this economy because of the demand to have more mixed-use assets in the Arts District, where people can work, shop and live.
